Adam Loomis is a
member of the Eau Claire Flying Eagles. He loves anything to do
with skiing and is a competitive Nordic Combiner. He has an
eight-year-old brother, Ben who likes to tag a long to all the
tournaments and has recently been taking more interest in ski
jumping. Adam also has an eighteen-year-old sister Sam who skis
but does not ski jump.
When he is not ski jumping, Adam likes
to downhill ski, cross-country ski, play tennis, and play soccer.
He enjoys going to his cabin in the summertime and getting up
there as often as he can in the winter. At his cabin he likes to
water ski, and wake board, and tube wildly. He is becoming a
sailor and is learning how to windsurf. He has also barefooted a
few times.
Adam
attends Memorial High School and gets to miss school more and more
often for ski jumping. His favorite classes are History and
English. He runs cross-country in the fall and plays tennis in the
springtime.
Adam’s favorite hills are Lake
Placid’s 90, Silver Mine and Minneapolis’s 70. He hopes to ski in
Europe someday, and compete at a national and world cup level for
Nordic Combining. |
