Junior Olympic Qualifier

We are heading into the first of four Junior Olympic Qualifiers (JOQ) and I would like to take this opportunity to go over the criteria for 2008.

Skiers are required to compete in 3 of the 4 qualifying events with scores taken from the best 2 and team members selected 60% of the top 4 special jumpers average.  There is also going to be a floor of 110 points, using coach's discretion as necessary per the national discretionary guidelines.  Any jumper interested in going to the JO's must jump in 2 of the designated tournaments and meet the above criteria.

The four tournaments to choose from will be Coleraine (January 13), Norge (January 26), Norge, Iola (February 3), & Madison (February 9)

(lists in PDF format - Acrobat Reader required; you may need
